Tropical plants give a lush, vibrant exotic feel to the garden. Some tropical varieties add wonderful texture with large leaves and others generate breathtaking floral displays. Most plants that project the lush vibrant look of the Tropicals are NOT winter hardy below 20 degrees. Many designers and gardeners use them as potted plants in the garden or on patios during the summers and then bring them inside the home or greenhouse before the first frost.
